….how did that happen? Apologies for a total lack of news and mixes, it would appear that a Hooker Barbie mix is like waiting for a bus, you wait ages and then three come along at once….tsktsk, I must try harder….recent changes have meant that I’m mixing most days now so the odds on a new HB mix coming out soon are high….like my hopes

….sooner or later. At a meeting of the Hooker Barbie appreciation society in Edinburgh last weekend Dan (head of all things cool) and Norm (official graphic designer) both said they had a mix of mine called “shake yer fish”. I said I’d never done a mix called that and they both said I had….thanks to to joy of the internet Dan sent me over a copy through the week and whatcha know, there is a mix of mine called Shake yer fish….I didn’t have a copy of it and I can’t remember doing it….it sounds like a set from a party and I can pinpoint it to 2004….hmmmmmm….do any other readers have mixes of mine that I don’t????
I thought I’d organise the mixes page a bit better so I’ve split the page up into years, with the mixes shown in chronological order. So, you can go find out for yourself if you already have a copy of Shake yer fish by checking it out, under the year 2004. I’ve also added some vintage mixes that weren’t previously listed on here, so knock yourself out and have a Hooker Barbie athon

….work in the studio is progressing nicely….just when I thought my monitor ones couldn’t sound any better….they did! awesome and all down to a few new cables….yumnumnum….so I thought it would be rude not to have a mix….dug out some old tunes I hadn’t played for ages which I knew would sound great on the new and improved set up….and the result is on the mixes page….sometimes I struggle to name mixes and this morning I decided it would be called retrospextive because they were older tunes and I’m just off out to the opticians….not too bad for a Saturday morning I thought Hope you’re enjoying your weekend xxx

….chillin in the studio….this Sunday twas with Bob the cat who resumed his usual spot in the comfy chair and slept. Like a log that was somehow made from a cat And so I started to get the pc ready for the return of Hooker Barbie’s House Party on Muckfm.com and thought it would be rude not to have a mix….the results of which are on the mixes page…. As hectic as life is, somehow I finally had time to get working on the return of my radio show….to find out that one of my monitors is making a funny noise….I was thinking of upgrading my leads anyway so now this has forced my hand, which will hopefully sort out the problem….fingers crossed!
Wish me luck….hope your speakers are working fine as you may have to turn this mix up
